The Victorian at Riverside exclusively serves seniors by providing high quality Personal Care and Behavioral Memory Care in a community based and home like environment in a state-of-the-art facility. For over 135 years, VAR's purpose has been to assist with basic needs in a manner that respects the individual's dignity, maximizes independent functioning, and encourages continued social interaction
In 1886, through the generosity of J.D. Hearne and other Covington businesses, this Romanesque inspired structure with its rounded arches and tower was built to serve the needs of seniors – at the time only women but present day both women and men.
Recently renamed as The Victorian at Riverside with an impressive state-of-the art homelike addition to improve the quality of living for its residents.
